Having appreciated the large straws furnished by boba tea places, I decided to go wider. Cut, shaped, sanded, and cleaned a 1″ O.D. ‘PVC’ pipe (suitable for potable water). Definitely more of a pipe than a straw.
It’s a bit like drinking from a firehose.
